Akwa Ibom State under the Udom Emmanuel led administration has experienced yet another smooth and transparent election as the Peoples Democratic Party has returned Obong Paul Ekpo as the state party chairman.
Mr. Idorenyin Orok the chairman of PDP in Uyo Local Government Area congratulated Obong Paul Ekpo on his re-election as the party chairman, vowing to work and support the party to bring dividends of Democracy to the people of Uyo.
Mr. Orok appreciated the Governor Deacon Udom Emmanuel whom he described as a leader who has the interest of his people and the party at heart and vowed to lead the party at the local government in a God-fearing way in line with Governor Udom Emmanuel’s agenda which as brought peace to Uyo PDP Chapter.
On his part, Elder Imo Okon the newly elected Vice Chairman III of the Party at the state level thanked the Governor, Elders /Political leaders of Uyo, Delegates who voted for him and the entire Akwa Ibom, pledging his unalloyed support to PDP under the Government of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
Also speaking, Ekpeno Gold who is the Special Assistant to Governor Udom on Social Re-orientation also congratulated Obong Paul Ekpo on his re-election, describing it as a result of hard work. He charged the good people of Akwa Ibom to remain steadfast and support the Governor.
